Pirates of the Caribbean, also known as Curse of the Caribbean, is an American pirate film series by Walt Disney Pictures, based on the eponymous theme park ride. Many video games and two additional attractions in the Disney amusement parks have also been released as part of the film series. Johnny Depp stars in the lead role as Captain Jack Sparrow.
