Chewbacca
Chewbacca was a Wookiee born on the planet Kashyyyk, distinguished by his species' typical brown fur and above-average height. Born 200 years before the Battle of Yavin, he experienced the early days of the Clone Wars and also participated in the battle for his home planet, fighting on the side of the Galactic Republic. At some point, he met the Corellian smuggler Han Solo, whom he then loyally partnered with.
