Star Trek: TOS - Klingon Commander Kruge - Action Figure 1/6 - 32 cm
"Don't lecture me about treaty violations. The Federation has become a pack of intergalactic criminals by developing an ultimate weapon."
The Klingons are the quintessential villains in Star Trek, dating back to the original series where they fought the Federation on multiple occasions. For the original series films, the Klingons were redesigned to appear even more terrifying and warlike. This new type of Klingon became the definitive look for the alien foes across the entire franchise, right up to Star Trek: Discovery, and proved so popular that it was also revisited in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
The figure that best embodies this fierce Klingon is the first to be introduced: Commander Kruge from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. Director Leonard Nimoy took a risk casting Christopher Lloyd, primarily known as a comedic television actor, as the ruthless Klingon commander. However, Lloyd proved to be a worthy adversary to William Shatner's Kirk and matched the villainous credibility embodied by Ricardo Montalban as Khan Noonien-Singh in Star Trek II.
This 1:6 scale Kruge figure is the most complex and detailed replica EXO-6 has created to date. Kruge and his crew were the first characters to wear this Klingon design, which set the standard for all Klingons from Star Trek: The Next Generation to Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Designed by award-winning costume designer Robert Fletcher, this costume was reused for Worf in The Next Generation.
The EXO-6 replica of Kruge's costume has been meticulously recreated with the help of Trekpert expert Max Cervantes.
It is the only museum-quality 1:6 scale replica available.
Under his removable robe, his Klingon armor is revealed, complete with back plates, holster, and chain, as well as a fur-trimmed shirt. He comes with a Klingon disruptor, a communicator, and various hands to recreate different poses. He has implanted synthetic hair to best mimic the Klingon hairstyle. The original portrait of Christopher Lloyd in full Klingon makeup has been officially approved and is an authentic, hand-painted replica.
